Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), GCON; Vice President, Federal Republic of Nigeria

Prof. Yemi Osinbajo is the current Vice President of Nigeria, in office since 29 May 2015. He is a Professor of Law and until his inauguration as Vice President, a Senior Partner with SimmonsCooper Partners, a commercial law practice.

Yemi Osinbajo was the Pastor in charge of the Lagos Province 48 (Olive Tree provincial headquarters) of The Redeemed Christian Church of God.

Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina; President, African Development Bank

Akinwumi “Akin” Adesina is the President of the African Development Bank. He previously served as Nigeria’s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development. Until his appointment as Minister in 2010, he was Vice President of Policy and Partnerships for the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA). In 2015, he was elected as the President of the African Development Bank. He was the first Nigerian to hold the post.

While at Purdue University Adesina and his wife, along with another couple, started a Christian group called the African Student Fellowship. He and his wife Grace have two children, Rotimi and Segun.

Dr. Okechukwu Enelamah; Former Minister, Industry, Trade, and Investment

Dr. Okechukwu Enelamah is Nigeria’s former Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment. He was nominated by President Muhammadu Buhari to join the Federal Cabinet in October 2015[1] and appointed to the Industry, Trade, and Investment portfolio in November 2015. He served in this position till 2019.

Dr. Enalamah founded African Capital Alliance (ACA), a private equity firm, in 1997 where he served as CEO until his appointment to the Industry, Trade, and Investment portfolio in November 2015 by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Mr Ben Akabueze; DG, Budget Office of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

Ben Akabueze is a Nigerian economist and the current Director General of the Budget office for the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He served as the CEO of NAL Bank Plc (now Sterling Bank Plc) and was two-term Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget with the Lagos State Government.

He was the Pastor-in-charge of Lagos Province 39 of the Redeemed Christian Church of God till his appointment with the Federal Government and is married to Ngozi, the CEO of Foundation for Sapphire (a non-profit organization).

Mr Yinka Sanni; CEO, Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc

Mr Yinka Sanni occupies the position of Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director at Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc. An Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, he’s on the board of 10 other companies.

Yinka Sanni received an undergraduate degree from the University of Nigeria, an MBA from Ekiti State University and an MBA from Obafemi Awolowo University.

Mr Kayode Pitan; MD/CEO, Bank of Industry

Kayode Pitan is the Managing Director of BOI, the oldest and largest development finance institution currently operating in Nigeria. Mr Pitan has had a distinguished career in the banking and financial services industry, beginning his career with Citibank Nigeria in 1986.

He is an alumnus of Lagos Business School and London Business School.

Bishop Matthew Kukah; Bishop, Catholic Diocese of Sokoto

Bishop Matthew Kukah served as a member of the Nigerian Investigation Commission of Human Rights Violations. In addition to his work as a parish priest of Saint Andrews’s parish in Kakuri, Kaduna from 2004 until his nomination as bishop, he was secretary of the National Political Reform Conference (2005), and from 2005 onwards he has been serving as the chairman of the Ogoni-Shell Reconciliation. Additionally, between 2007 and 2009 he worked also in the committee for electoral reform set up by the Nigerian government.
